Introducing York Hair Studios Founder Hannah Petterd.

With over 20 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and passion to my work. Trained in the UK, I’ve had the privilege of travelling the world doing hairdressing, including working aboard cruise ships—experiences that shaped my skills and broadened my approach to hair.

For more than a decade, I’ve proudly worked on the North Shore, building strong relationships with clients and refining my craft. Now, I’m bringing everything I’ve learned together to create my own salon.

My passion is helping people look and feel the best they ever have. I believe a salon visit should be more than just great hair; it should be a soothing, calming experience. My goal is that every client leaves feeling relaxed, uplifted, and confident.
